GlinkBot brings agent conversations into a desktop workspace, with an Android companion for a paired connection. Public downloads are still being prepared.

Set up your desktop

Once an official installer is available, install GlinkBot and open Settings. Configure a supported agent engine using the sign-in method or API credentials it supports. Third-party accounts, subscriptions, and usage limits are separate from GlinkBot.

Create your first bot

Give your bot a name, choose its model, and describe the job you want it to do. Start with a small, specific request. Review its result before connecting more tools or adding permissions.

Keep work organized

Use separate threads for different tasks. Agent profiles hold identity, instructions, skills, memory, routines, and other settings. The options you see depend on the installed build and provider.

Connect Android

Keep the desktop or server running. Enable the phone companion from the desktop pairing controls, then use the pairing details in the Android app. Both devices need a reachable connection. A desktop’s localhost address is not reachable as the same address from your phone.

Keep pairing codes private. Do not expose the local workspace directly to the public internet without an appropriately secured remote-access setup.

Understand permissions

Enable only the tools and computer access a task needs. Review approval prompts carefully. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, so check important results before acting on them.

Know where your data goes

The desktop workspace uses ~/.glinkbot. Using a cloud AI provider or connected service sends it the requests and context needed for that work. Local-first does not mean every task runs offline.

Need a public release?

Official installers, support details, and Android availability will be added as the product is prepared for release. There is no iOS release offered by GlinkBot.
